Moto Trials Mechanical Course with Neil Price August 20th and 21st

As I have spoken about at previous trials, I am running a mechanical course for Moto Trials riders. The course is aimed toward people who are relatively new to Trials/motorcycling and/or don't have a great deal of mechanical knowledge. It aims to cover all of the mechanical work that a trials rider may come across. It is simplified to give you a sound basic understanding, from which to learn more through experience.
Dates: Saturday 19th of August or Sunday 20th of August 2011
Duration: 1 day /8 hours
Time: 9am-5pm
Cost: $150 and includes morning and afternoon tea and lunch and drinks (tea coffee juice etc) and the booklet with everything covered through the day.
Location: 17 Pages Way Martin (Gosnells)
Numbers: Max of 5 people each day
The day will be fairly comprehensive and long with one part theory and one part practical, so you will also need to wear work clothes and expect to get greasy.
By the end of the day you will have a good understanding of;
  • 2 stroke engine cycle,
  • Carburation,
  • Electrical system,
  • Clutch,
  • Hydraulic system,
  • Suspension
Also by the end of the day you will be able to;
(These things you will actually have to do during the practical part of the day)
  • Problem solve a non starting bike,
  • Clean the carburettor
  • Change front and rear tyres
  • Change fork seals
  • Bleed Hydraulic lines
  • Remove and re fit a fly wheel
  • Repair threads
At the moment there is only the two days available, if there is sufficient interest more may be done in the future. If you are interested contact me ASAP to secure a spot.
