Now not only did Jack pay the costs,,pay Lewis to ride, he also supplied the bike!!!..Lewis had to ride on the same stuff as the boy,s on their trials bikes, so it was pretty full-on for the 5 shows a day they did, 1000's of people he said, had a ball....
THEN CAME THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!   well what can I say, Sooner or later it was going to happen!! Glad I was there to see it, wonder wots coming next?????

2011 BETA EVO MODS

There are a few little changes which are hard to spot on the new Beta EVO, firstly the engine has been moved slightly higher and forward to change the center of gravity for better handling. On the previous Beta EVO's water could make its way into the airbox quite easily, so next years model has been altered to be more water resistant, and also has a drain plug incorporated in the air box. The exhaust system has a few mods and is also a little lighter. The one thing I like the most is the new rear rim, if you've ever had to replace rim tape on the old style rims you'll know what i am talking about! With the new rim you'll not have to worry about leaking spokes due to the spoke mounts being shifted to the outside, it also saves about 500 grams. The rear spring is also new to improve static sag and plus a lot of little changes to make bike maintenance a lot easier.

Aussie Men’s Team place seventh at 2010 Trial des Nations

The Australian Men’s Team have wrapped up the 2010 Trial des Nations in an impressive seventh place in the International Nations Trophy class.
Following on from the Women’s event on Saturday, the guys put in a stellar effort – overcoming unfamiliar conditions and riding unfamiliar bikes against some of the best.
While the World Championship Class for National Teams was taken out – not so surprisingly, by Spain, Great Britain, and Italy, the Australian Team consisting of Tim Coleman (Glenmaggie VIC), Colin Zarczynski (Penrith NSW), Neil Price and Lewis Nolan (Perth WA), faced stiff competition from the likes of the Norwegian, Czech and German teams.
Only a handful of points separated Australia from fourth place, with the teams second lap an astonishing 17 points better than the first.
Speaking after the event Coleman said the team worked together so well and was stoked with his first taste of the Trial des Nations.
“It was so good to ride as a team out there,” Coleman said.
“Everyone helps each other out, and having a support crew who were cheering at the end of each of the sections helps you to ride even better.
“It’s such a great feeling when people are cheering you on, it really gets you pumped up and it’s good to have some Aussie support.
“For my first Trial des Nations experience, I’m really happy, I felt I rode well, and I’m happy with how everyone else was riding, so it was all a good team effort and the results aren’t bad!”
Nolan, who also made his debut in the Australian Team, did face some nerves at the beginning of the day, especially with some top teams lining up against the Aussies in the International class, however he was thrilled with the results.
“I was really nervous at the beginning of the day, but as I got into the swing of things it got better,” Nolan said.
“We’d all expected Ireland to be one of the teams to beat and they started just in front of us so we got to watch them on a lot of the sections - we knew we were pretty even with them and ended up beating them by 31 points, but the Norwegian Team were riding brilliantly.
“This has been such a good experience and I definitely want to be back in 2011.”
While the conditions had been a concern coming in to the event, Zarczynski said that they were a lot better when things eventually kicked off.
“The conditions out at the sections were a lot better than when we walked through them on Saturday,” Zarczynski said.
“The water level in the river had dropped overnight so we could actually see what we were riding in which was better, so we weren’t going to drown our bikes and there weren’t as many tree roots as we’d expected which was definitely a bonus!”
Looking ahead to 2011, Price said that while there were some areas the team could work on, everyone did an outstanding job.
“From this event we’ve been able to identify a few areas we can definitely improve, particularly how best to use the minders to our advantage,” Price said.
“It was a good decision for the selectors to select a team with European experience, because it really paid off - there’s a lot of stuff here that back home you never get to ride and the guys here adapted to it very well.
“The points are just so close, and there were a number of unlucky calls, but we weren’t beyond the other teams, it was only a couple of points that separated us from the top four.
“We did really well, the whole team rode awesome, the two young guys adapted to the conditions superbly and adapted to the situation too, so next year we’re going to be even better for sure.”

Team Dynamics WA State Champs, good results despite dramas

Team Dymanics had a good result at the WA State Championships held at AJS Trials Park despite a number of problems.

Tim and Alex fought it out in Open Solo, Alex broke his rear suspension linkage which was the start of his horror first lap with too many 5’s that he doesn’t want to remember. Tim had a good first and second lap which would have had him in the lead. Alex settled and put in a clean third lap whilst Tim started to drop a few 5’s. Alex put in another clean lap in the fourth whilst Tim crashed out hurting his back on section 4 and took 5’s for the rest of the sections.
Luke Patane and support rider Ben Dumitro fought it out in juniors with Luke 2nd and Ben 3rd. Luke took a dip on the last lap on section 9 drowning his bike big time. Luke finished the last on Joel’s bike.

Congratulations to all team riders.

Beta wins WA State Champs Congrats Alex Nolan

Alex Nolan(Team Dynamics Beta Evo 250) wins WA State Champs, despite a horror first lap along with some mechanical problems. Alex settled with two clean laps to win his first WA State Championship in Open Solo. The event was conducted at AJS Trials Park and consisted of 4 laps of 10 sections.

The aussie team has been training with former world number 2 Deigo Bosis and former ladies world champion Iris Kramer. The weather has been very wet but hasn't dampened the teams enthusiasm. Neil Price Nationals Report

Neil Price 2010 Nationals Report

What an Awesome weekend we had up at Mount Tambourine, for this years Aussie titles.  We didn't get a chance to thank people at the presentation due to a few technical hiccups, so I thought I better get onto an article and post it before we fly out for Poland!  Jess and I drove home to Perth, and I have had a week at work and then fly out with Lewis to Poland on Sunday (tomorrow).  My legs have just got over the 4700kms of driving and they aren't looking forward to 20 hours in sardine class in a plane!

First up I want to thank a few people, firstly to my wife Jessica! She has been an enormous help as always, and all this year in particular and I can't thank her enough!  Dad for being the best bloody minder I could ever hope for!  He always puts in the same effort as me if not more!  Thanks to Tim Alex and Lewis for all the riding we have had together as this has made me pick up my act!  Thanks to all the West Aussies those who were in QLD, and those at home, for all their support through out the year in particular with helping us A graders running the Expert series in Perth.  Thanks to Justin Gough for sorting us out with a place to practice.  A huge thank you also to the Willcocks family, Danny and Mitch Green and Jamie O'Neil for helping us find potential minders for Tim after Paul potentially hurt his arm the weekend before the Trial!  Finally thanks to all our sponsors, Beta, Bel-Ray, Diadora, Raptor Racing, TRP, Apico, Exciting, and Airoh.

Also my apologies to anyone I may have inadvertently ignored, didn't catch up with, or didn't hear, over the weekend.  We have a lot to do and when I am focusing I can get a little intense.  I also think we need a public holiday on the Monday of every Aussie titles so after we have done the important stuff of riding, we can all get rid of the full years worth of pent up, gas bagging, and dribbling of shit that we all want to do!

I really enjoyed the trial; it was a nice change of scenery to be in the creek bed all the way!  What a shame we can't ride there more often!  I did miss not having any big steps but, there aren't really any big steps in the creek!  The guys did a great job setting the sections, I actually thought on lap one they may have been a little too easy but I think they were spot on!  The last few years has seen some really great sections set for the titles, but I am a little sadistic!

We went into the trial trying to be as conservative as possible in the sections because we don't get a lot of slippery stuff in Perth and I was feeling pretty sketchy, to be honest.  Every section felt like I could go from a beautiful clean ride to a gumby looking 3 or 5 in a spilt second.  I was worried I'd have a good ride but get let down with a few stupid 5's.  I was pretty happy with my ride, but in the end I felt I was a little too conservative which cost me a few points.  After all these years I still say what if??  Congratulations to Jake what an awesome ride!  To drop a lap of 4 points was just insane!  He certainly deserved the win.

Well I am now packed and ready for Poland, I am a little worried as I only have 16kgs currently packed???  Something has to be missing – Oh that's right the wife's not coming! (hehehe I'll pay for that one!)  Lewis and I have been out riding for the last few days and we are both fit and ready.  Myslenice is just south of Krakow on the map and I think Mount Tambourine is probably the best lead up we could have had to this trial.  I have ridden 3 Euro Champ rounds and minded 1 world round there, and it is greasy! A creek bed lined with clay banks and lots of tree roots.  Though the rock isn't as nice as Mount Tambourine, it is quite ugly and awkward.  So our boys and girls should do well, but we are up against some pretty tough competition.  It's a shame that Michelle has busted her knee, but I am sure that Brooke will do a great job in filling her boots.  MA also has Erin Lagoudakis a public relations expert to help us get some exposure so we should get a bit better exposure for the team this year than in the past!

Hopefully we can report back with some great results!

Neil Price

Team Dynamics Aussie Nats Report

Team Dynamics had a very successful National Championships with all
riders placing better than previous nationals. Neil finished 2nd just
behind Kiwi rider Jake Whittaker to finish the best Australian and
claiming the number 1 status in Australia. The slippery conditions at
the Mount Tamborine Thunderbird Park venue had the riders on edge
throughout the two day comp. Neil put in consistent laps in the 20's to
secure his position, lap two, day one being his worst lap. Whilst Neil
didn't win the Australian Championships he is happy to be Number 1 in
Australia.

Lewis finished a very creditable 8th in his second Open Solo Aust Champs
outing. Lewis's first lap cost him dearly whilst he was coming to terms
with the slippery conditions but the rest of his laps showed that he was
on the money and could have easily been contesting for a top 5. This
outing showing clearly that he will be a very valuable Aust TdN Team
member in Poland this year.

Alex who was targeting a top 10 finish, placed 11th in his very first
Open Solo National event. Alex turned a lot of heads showing that he is
clearly a top ten contender. Alex battled with the slippery conditions
but showed them all up on the big step on section 8, day two that had a
number of the big names tumbling down.

Tim's lack of bike time cost him points but he had his best ever
National finish, placing 13th, unlucky for some. Tim's natural riding
style served him well in the slippery conditions. Tim just rode over
rocks that other riders where either avoiding or where being spat off.
On day one Tim got through section 3 on both laps where all the big
names where crashing out with 5's.

Young Luke did it tough in his first ever National Championships. Day
One was a shocker for the juniors with Luke close to maximum points but
he toughed it out and found day two a bit easier. He finished with a
clean or two under his belt and a big grin on his face that he can be
proud of.

Congratulations to all team riders and thanks to the minders Leo, Dave,
Paul and Simon and to the girls, Sue, Jess Tayla and Rachel for feeding
us and pampering us.

BETA RIDERS MAKE PODIUM IN JAPAN AND ERZBERG

Beta had a very successful weekend with Jeroni Fajardo placing 3rd and 2nd at the third round of the world trials championship, and Dougie Lampkin placing 3rd in the Erzberg extreme enduro

Jeroni Fajardo was on form in Japan with a 2nd for day 1, and a 3rd for day 2 . This years championship has been the closest in years with 3 different winners in 3 rounds. The Japanese round was made a lot more difficult due to some heavy rain on Friday . The event is held at the twin ring motegi circuit which is extremely steep, it doesn't take much rain to turn the place into a slippery bog hole. Toni Bou and Adam Raga shared the honors for both days but Jeroni always kept the pressure on them through out the weekend. A shook for the weekend was a 5th place for the ex championship rider Kenichi Kuroyama who has been off the world stage a for a few years. Jeroni has now overtaken Albert Cabestany in the championship and now sits 4th only 6 points from Fujigas.

The Erzberg Hare Scramble is considered the hardest enduro in the world! To give you a perspective 500 started and only 15 finished. The event was won overall by Tadeusz Blazusiak who is the undisputed king of extreme enduros. Dougie previously attempted Erzberg last year but didn't have the best introduction to the Iron Giant. Dougie collapsed due to the extreme temperatures while in 2nd position. While Dougie was being seen to another rider passed dislodging a rock which hit him in the head without his helmet on. Doug had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital for a night for precautions. This year Dougie had an awesome run but unfortuantly had some mechanical issues which robbed him of 2nd place. In the end Dougie managed to bring his Beta 400 home in 3rd position.

For anyone who has never seen erzberg before, check out this video clip of the 09 Erzberg

Australian Trials Des Nations Team Selection Poland Sept

Neil and Lewis selected to represent Australia in Poland this year.

For Neil this will be his fourth selection for the Australian Team and will be looking forward to riding in Europe again.  Neil campaigned in Europe for many years contesting European Championships and minding/mechanic for World Round with Top Trial Team.

For Lewis this will be his first representation for Australia, one I’m very sure he is very proud of.  Lewis trained and competed in Europe last year and he will be very happy to back in Europe again.

For Western Australia this is a first, to have two West Aussie’s on the Australian Team is a signal of the standard of riders in the West.

We wish Neil, Lewis and the Aust Team all the best for this years TDN.

BETA RR 4T FINALLY ARRIVES

The new Beta 450 enduro bike has finally landed in perth. This years bike is 100% Beta! Over the last few years Beta have been using Ktm engines to kickstart their enduro project, but after years of development they have finally their released their new engine in the 2010 range.
The current market is very competitive so Beta have not only focused on getting the bike quick, a lot of there design has been targeted on reliability. The good old days checking your oil once a year and "what is valve clearance?" are gone. Beta have designed the valve train with this target in mind, They have used a finger follower with a low friction DLC coating (Diamond Like Carbon) to provide high stiffness and a low oscillating mass. The oscillating mass of the finger follower system with steel valves is nearly equal to a tappet style valve train with titanium valves. This means upper limit of the valve train is over 12000 rpm. Due to the low oscillating mass, high stiffness of the valve train and the selection of materials and coatings, the cylinder head is practically maintenance free.

The new engine also uses 2 seperate oil circuits, one for the top end ( crankshaft, piston, cylinder head ) and the other for the clutch and gearbox. This is beneficial for two main reason, firstly you can use specialized oil for engine and clutch and secondly the wear from your clutch plates wont contaminate your engine oil.

If anyone would like more information or a test ride on the new bikes don't hesitate to contact us.

Indoor Moto Trial to Rock Perth in 2010

Announcing the Biggest Indoor Moto Trial to be held in Australia to date! The event is to be held on Saturday Night the 20th of March 2010, Perth Western Australia, and will see eight of the best riders in the country fighting it out in a 5000 seat stadium on the Saturday night.

This will be the first event to be run by a newly developed consortium, developed by Moto Dynamics. The event will be a single round in Perth in 2010 and then the intent is to develop from there in to a multi round series.

This is a partnership that has been developed by Moto Dynamics and sees Neil and Simon Price along with Barry Barton (Barry is a long time passionate trials rider) partnered with some of the best event management and promotions people in Australia. This first round will be a single event that is to basically show off what is possible with Indoor Moto Trials to financial backers. If this round goes well the intent is then to develop into a genuine Australian Championship series taking in each capital city, and then possibly an Oceania series. This will create exposure for the sport and riders, and in turn an opportunity to gain genuine sponsors.

For this event to run well we need the support of the Trials riding community! Get yourself to Perth and check out the best riders in the country!!

NOLAN BOYS A BAD INFLUENCE

The nolan boys as usual have been a bad influence on us. they’ve been going crazy on their pushy’s lately doing flips. We dont want to get left behind so we thought its about time we have a go! At first we went down to the river to practice, after getting flips into water with no problems we headed to the skate park to give it a go. Lewy has a few old matresses in his van which they place on the floor to practise new tricks. I thought the foam was a little to close but they assured me that it was fine! I ended up missing the foam and landed flat on my back! Paul had a few attempts with no real luck, but afterwards paul got it right to a dirt jump we’ve built at neil’s. It didn’t take long for the first trip to hospital, Paul popped a vein in his leg and had to get it drained. Paul’s mate Pete who is a crazy bastard can barely ride a bike in a straight line pulled off a flip as well.
