hELLO

well in the trial I rode better than last weekend, but stiLl much the same
the sections werent as hard as they looked in the rain, as it was a really nice fine day.
on my 2nd lap I managed four cleans, one 1, fours 3's, and six 5's compaired to 1st lap of one clean, two 1's, one 2,four 3's, and seven 5's.
I was happy with the 4 cleans! .
also on about three sections, I rode clean through most of the hard stuff, then ended up 5ing or dabbing for 3 on really easy bits. very annoying
so if I got it all together I think I could make my score alot lower
was fun tho! very slippery!
The lap was huge,  on the first lap I occured 51pts plus 9pts time penalty, 2nd lap was better with 43pts and only 2pts on time, so I need to be quicker next time. on the 2nd lap u dont even look at most sections. just ride them
I also got very tired on the 2nd lap, this cost me many points also, the sections are very tiring as there is no room or time to have a break like in australia. most sections are very long, I timed out once or twice.
So overall  I finished with a score of 94pts plus 11pts on time total of 105pts which placed me 22nd out of 26 starters.
Now its back to Pons place in Barcelona to clean an check the bike an practise, practise, practise ready for more!!!.
Note from Mum,Dad an Alex, Great ride Lewis, congratulations on finishing 22nd in a World championship Junior event.Great effort!!!.

Jeroni Fajardo Wins in Andorra

Fajardo(Beta) scores his first No 1 podium spot in Andorra. Jeroni lead after the first lap with a brilliant lap of only 8 points compared with Raga and Bou(15 points) who finished equal second on the first lap.  Jeroni improved further dropping only 4 points on the second lap, clearly stamping his authority on the event.

hello!

Andorra is awsum!
we are soooo high in the mountains, its way nice.
today in practice it was awsum
I trained in the same section, just slightly easier than some of the world guys!
same line as some of the world junior and 125 riders
its crazy tho, cos I practicin this section, and like infront of me is jeroni fajardo, then right behind me loris gubian!
it was pretty cool
I have had the barrel off my bike twice today, changing the base gaskets to cope with the altitude! haha

we walked sections today....
they are so bloody hard! ah
I think ill be lucky if I even get through one section!
seriously
they are hard as
some sections are in this big rocky river, the rest in the forests
soooooooooooo insanely slippery! haha
the lap is awsum tho
its huge and like a massive trail ride
this mornin was hot, so when we go walk sections I have a t shirt on...
then it poured and hailed! I was sooooo cold.

when we drove here it hailed heaps, looked like snow everywhere! haha
oh at every event me sam and seoung help set the truck up, like the enclosed room and stuff
so last nite albert cabestanys mechanic (he is so nice) took us out for dinner
so we were eatin with albert cabestany! he is really nice.
and toni bou, he is nice to, always waves and says hi .

oh guess what also, at this place it is also a mountain bike park!
there is a hugeee foam pit!
massive dirt jumps
and like downhill tracks with northshore stuff
its awsum wish I had my norco haha
 Lewis.

Hey all,
Went to the ducati factory yesterday! Absolutly awesome! The guide was
in love with bayliss, the whole time she was talking to me and Tayla
about troy and the factory and museum tour both finished off with
bayliss bike replicas! He was so loved because he spoke Italian and he
use to wander the whole factory talking to everyone! We stayed in a
4star hotel that night just around from the factory, for only 60 euro
which is cheap! Drove to the beta factory the next day. We did a tour of the
new factory, it's so professional!
Caught up with, Alessio, luca and ricardo, they must live there! Finished
off and said goodbyes and headed off to the camping ground norcenni
girasole club, holy shit it is amazing! It's 4 star so it has
everything. And it only costs us 30 euro a night! Don't wanna leave
but we will head off to Rome camping tomorrow, Hope all is well
back home, can't wait too see ya's all!
Cya soon TNT

hello! everyone

today I still  did not ride that well, it is pretty hard cos sections are soooooooooooooo slippery, and on very steep hills.

on my 2nd lap i catch up to all the top riders, i was in the line right next to them,it was pretty cool haha, they were asking like can i go first like hellll putting pressure on me, i just let them in  because they were only on their 1st lap, they were like thankyou thankyou haha.
my riding is getting better tho .
In section 13 in the river, i went
to foot, but I fell in this huge hole in the river, i got saturated from shoulders down,It was a bit embarrasing , the water was helllll cold
On lap 1 I dropped 62 points ,lap 2 only 55 points to finish28th out of 34 starters. The last 5 riders failing to finish.
My final score was 117 pts. only 46 behind Laia Sanz in 17th place on 71 pts.
Once I finished and had something to eat, Joan and I went and watched the top guys on their 2nd lap. awsome to watch, Raga won,Fuji 2nd and Bou 3rd.
Now its back to Pons place for a weeks training then off to Andorra for the next world round.

Lewis survives first euro championship event.

hey everyone

they made the sections easier lastnite which was good
still hellllllllllllllllllllllll hard but.
i didnt  ride nearly my best, was pretty nervous, i had many good rides, clean to the end, then stuff up on the easiest bit and get 5s
some sections are just sooooooooooooo slippery
first lap i dropped 59,  and think i was like 25th outta 37 starters
2nd lap i ride so so so bad,I dropped 71pts, and end up 31st
hopefully go better tomorrow  at the world round

i am going out for dinner with tim and tayla tonite,  He was hell nice running after me on the first four sections giving me water and stuff and just being there. It was good just to have them there for my first ride in Europe.

Tim proposes to Tayla in France

Tim popped the question to Tayla in the French Alps and she said yes.  Tim said she nearly fell off the mountain when he popped the question.  We weren’t expecting it, congrats and all the best for the future from us all at Moto Dynamics.

Had a pretty good weekend at the trial. Fri and sat were better cos
there was less people! Today there there were people everywhere, you
can always see bou just by the spectators. Lewy rode pretty well, very
nervous both days! Tough considering he just hopped off the plane
and truck! Haha, I think joan can see a lot of potential in lewy!
The world guys have been struggling, bou finished his first lap on
bout 30! Will write bigger email later. Gotta go later

Nolan Brothers 1 & 2 at Blackwood Two Day

Lewis and Alex took out the prestige’s Blackwood Two day.  Lewis had the top spot on the podium with Alex runner up.  Alex along with Neil, Tristian Lowe, Luke and Joel Patane put on an impressive display on Saturday at the IGA shopping Centre in Donnybrook.  This was a promotional display as a lead up to the two day event, Sun/Mon.  Frank Patane (Patane Transport) who sponsors and organises the Blackwood Two Day, organised a very good array of concrete products, plus a truck trailer for the boys to ride over.

The Blackwood this year was run a bit different, with 14 sections each day.  Lewis relished the tight technical sections and enjoyed the 14 section layout.  This would be good practice for when he heads to Europe, except the sections will without a doubt be a little bit bigger over there.  Alex was hot on his heels and it won’t be long before they are going head to head.  Lewis has really stepped up, Neil only rode day one due to work commitments, they only had 8 points separating them on day one.

Lewis off to Europe soon

Lewis is flying out on Tuesday 16th June, his last ride here in WA will be at Prestige Two at Burkeup 14th June until he returns to WA just in time for the State Champs in Sept.  Lewis will miss the Australian Championships in NSW.  He will be spending approx 3 months in Europe training and travelling to the European and World Championships with Joan Pons Trials School.  Lewis will be contesting juniors in both the European and World Championships.  His first events will be the Italian Euro and World Champs where Tim and Tayla will catching up with him.  From there it will be, World round in Andorra, Euro and World Champs in Spain, Spanish Championships and then the World Champs in France, then back home for the WA State Champs.  We wish Lewis all the best with what will be a fantastic experience and adventure,  have a great ride.
